چکیده

The paper presents a unified steady-state analysis of PWM SEPIC converter with coupled inductors and separate inductors for both continuous and discontinuous conduction modes. The results of this simplified analysis allow to determine the operating point of converters and further the small-signal low-frequency parameters of linear model, and to design the converter too. The expressions of all steady-state properties of converter take the effects of inductor coupling into account. The converter with separate inductors is treated as a particular case of the more general coupled-inductor case. Isolated Three-Phase Rectifier Using a Sepic DC-DC Converter in Continuous Conduction Mode For Power Factor Correction

This paper presents an analysis of a three-phase rectifier with high power factor using a Sepic DC-DC converter operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM). The structure is particularly simple and robust. Its main features are: one power processing stage, which can operate as step-down or step-up voltage, lower harmonic distortion in the line current and natural isolation. The converter work...

Modulated Ramp PWM Generator for Linear Control of the Boost Converter’s Power Stage

In this paper, the concept of the modulated-ramp PWM generator is presented. The specific nonlinear behavior of this generator enables an exact linear control-to-output static conversion characteristic of DC-DC switching converters, such as the boost (step-up), buck/boost, Ćuk or Sepic, operating in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM). The resulting linearization leads to a significant improvement...

Modelling the PWM SEPIC Converter in Discontinuous Conduction Mode

A full-order dynamic model of the pulse-width modulation (PWM) DC-to-DC SEPIC converter in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) is presented in this paper. The derivation procedure is based on the smallsignal PWM switch model in DCM used in conjunction with a PWM derived SEPIC topology. The small-signal characteristics of the PWM SEPIC converter in DCM obtained in a similar way as the small-sign...

A Sliding Surface-Regulated Current-Mode Pulse-Width Modulation Controller for a Digital Signal Processor-Based Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter-Type Power Factor Correction Rectifier

To efficiently supply wide-range DC voltage from a pulse-width modulation (PWM) rectifier, this paper presents a single-phase, full-wave, diode-bridge, single-ended primary-inductor converter-type (SEPIC-type) power-factor-correction (PFC) rectifier in continuous conduction mode with a sliding surface-regulated current-mode PWM controller. According to the switched-mode operation of the rectifi...
